Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields;

for they are white already to harvest.

John 4:35 KJV

who are we?

We are a non-denominational/evangelical church based in Foreman, AR. We were established in 1989 by our Senior Pastors Bob & Maroline Smith along with Pastor Joyce Green. The church was started as a home bible study with a mix of individuals from various religious background, unified under one common need, to have a real true relationship with Jesus Christ. The group moved to Prince of Peace Church's current location within a year and still has meet there every Sunday and Thursday. If you are wanting to have a closer relationship with Jesus or if don't know Jesus and would like to know him, join us any time.

what do we believe?

We believe that Almighty God is the Creator of life and the universe, and He is the God of the Bible.

We believe that He sent His son, Jesus, the Messiah, as the Savior into the world. He is the Savior of all those who receive Him by grace through faith .

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the author of all scripture, from Genesis to

Revelation (II Peter 1:21; II Timothy 3:16).

We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God.

We believe in the Divine Trinity, that God is one, but is manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We believe that they are co-equal and co-eternal.

We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law.

We believe that salvation is only possible by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in water baptism by immersion as a direct commandment of the Lord, and that this ordinance is for believers only. It is the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the New Birth.

We believe that this experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance .

We believe that healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is done by the power of God through the prayer faith and the laying on of hands.

We believe that healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member in the Church today .

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ shall return for the Church and that His coming is imminent.

We believe that following the tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, He shall reign a thousand years.

We believe that those who physically die in their sins without accepting Christ as Savior, are hopelessly and eternally lost.

We believe that the Lake of Fire is literal and the terms "eternal" and "everlasting " used to describe the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire carry the same thought and meaning of the endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God.
